Goat Cheese and Honey Board

Servings 8

Goat cheese and honey board decorated with flower garnish.

Overview

In a single day, a bee may visit up to 10,000 flowers. These herb- and citrus-flavored goat cheese rounds are rolled in edible flowers and then drizzled in honey. Serve them on a board with more honey, Savannah Bee Company Raw Honeycomb, and your favorite crackers for the most bee-utiful grazing board.

Instructions

1. Wash Up!

2. Make the herb goat cheese: Combine the goat cheese, parsley, chives, and tarragon in a small bowl. Shape into a disc and roll in marigold flowers.

3. Make the spicy orange-oregano goat cheese: Combine the goat cheese, orange zest, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Shape into a disc and roll in viola petals.

4. Make the lemon-dill goat cheese: Combine the goat cheese, lemon zest, and dill in a small bowl. Shape into a disc and roll in dianthus and bachelor’s button petals.

To Serve: Arrange the goat cheese rounds on a platter. Drizzle with honey and serve with crackers.

Pro Tip: You can often find mixed edible flowers in the packaged herbs section of the produce department.

Table Talk: A worker bee can travel up to five miles to forage. What’s the furthest you have gone to find something you wanted?
