Honey Hugo Spritz

Servings 1

Honey hugo spritz cocktail garnished with lime and edible flowers.

Overview

Sweetened with a honey simple syrup, this lime, mint, and elderflower cocktail gets some bubbly action after it’s topped with Prosecco and club soda. It’s the refreshing beverage you’ll be craving all summer!

    Instructions

    1. Wash Up!

    2. Make the honey simple syrup: Stir together the honey and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the honey dissolves, about 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside to cool.

    3. Make the cocktail: Combine 1 tablespoon of the simple syrup, the leaves of 1 mint sprig, and 1 lime wheel in a jar or glass. Muddle the mixture to release the oils from the mint and the juice from the lime. Add the elderflower liqueur.

To Serve: Pour the mixture into an ice-filled glass, straining if desired. Top with Prosecco and club soda. Garnish with mint, lime wheels, and edible flowers. Serve immediately.

Pro Tip: Make a double-batch of the simple syrup and keep it in the fridge. It’s perfect for adding a little sweetness to iced tea.
