Tropical Fruit Salad in Watermelon Bowls

Servings 4

Person holding a watermelon that is cut in half and served with an assortment of fruit and raw honeycomb inside.

Overview

Up your grazing board game with this vibrant tropical fruit salad served in baby watermelons. A generous drizzle of Tupelo honey and chunk of golden honeycomb are the crowning garnishes to the sweet snack.

Instructions

1. Wash Up!

2. Prep the watermelon: Cut the watermelons in half crosswise. Scoop out the red fruit, and cut into chunks, reserving the halves for serving.

3. Prep the remaining fruit: Cut the dragon fruit in half and use a melon baller to create bite-size balls. Cut the kiwi in half in a zig-zag shape. Cut the pineapple into bite-size wedges.

To Serve: Arrange the fruit inside the watermelon bowls. Drizzle with honey and top with honeycomb.

Pro Tip: Before cutting the watermelons in half, remove a small piece of each end so they’ll sit upright when you place them on the table.
